Teaching Assistant (TA)

Contract: Full-time / Part-time (flexible options considered)
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and thrive both academically and personally.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum. You will assist in delivering engaging lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in their learning, both in groups and individually
- Assist the class teacher with planning and preparing classroom activities
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Support children with additional needs to access the curriculum
- Encourage independence, confidence, and a love of learning
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community
The Ideal Candidate
- Has experience working with children in an educational or similar setting
- Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic
- Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is adaptable and able to respond to the needs of pupils
- Is committed to supporting the development and wellbeing of all children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
