We’re expanding our talent pool in Hull and surrounding areas, and we’re looking for motivated individuals to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant/Tutor, you’ll have the chance to build your professional skills while helping students thrive.

The Role: Teaching Assistant/Tutor

As a TA with TP-Tutors, you’ll:

  • Support students 1:1 or in small groups across various subjects.

  • Inspire and motivate learners to reach their potential.

  • Represent TP-Tutors with professionalism and commitment to safeguarding.

Pay: £15–£20 per hour
A full UK driving licence is preferred, as some sessions may be held in students' homes or local libraries.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong English communication skills.

  • Based in the UK with a valid home address.

  • A passion for motivating and encouraging students.

  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one (support available).

  • Experience with SEND, SEMH, or additional needs is a plus.

  • UK teaching or classroom experience is desirable.

  • Familiarity with the English, Maths, or Science curriculum.

  • Up-to-date safeguarding training.

  • Professional references covering 24 months within the last 10 years.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
