Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Heysham, seeking a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA2) to join their team from September 2025 on a full-time basis.

Role Overview:

As a TA2, you’ll play a key role in supporting the learning and development of pupils across the school. You’ll work closely with class teachers, delivering targeted interventions and helping to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting pupils’ learning both in class and in small groups

• Assisting with planning and preparation of learning activities

• Providing tailored support to pupils with additional needs

• Helping manage behaviour positively and consistently

• Creating a nurturing, supportive space for all learners

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

• Experience working in a primary school setting

• A positive, enthusiastic and adaptable approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
