Job Vacancy: Primary School Teaching Assistant – Hampshire
Location: Hampshire, UK
Job Type: Full-time or part-time (term-time only)
Salary: from £13.75 per hour
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if you're available)
We are looking for a friendly, caring, and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our lovely primary school in Hampshire.
What You’ll Do:

Help the teacher in the classroom with lessons and activities
-
Work with children in small groups or one-to-one, especially those who need extra support
-
Set up resources and keep the classroom tidy
-
Support pupils with their learning and help with their confidence
-
Help create a happy and safe environment where children can thrive

Someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a difference

Good communication and teamwork skills

Patience, kindness, and a positive attitude

Some experience in a school is a bonus, but not required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
