We are looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and ambitious secondary school community in Dorchester, Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work alongside teachers and students, providing valuable support to help pupils achieve their goals. The successful candidate will contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment where every student is encouraged to thrive.

A September start is available for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will:

• Work effectively alongside teachers and support colleagues
• Provide guidance and encouragement to students in and outside the classroom
• Help create a safe, inclusive and positive learning atmosphere
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience working with children, young people or in an educational setting would be beneficial, but is not essential. Full training and support will be provided for the right candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
