Teaching Assistant - Darlington

About the role

• Both full & part time positions available starting from November 2023 
• Work on a 1:1 basis with students who require additional support
• Provide general classroom support
• Located within Darlington and surrounding areas with excellent public transport links to our partnership schools  

The ideal candidate must

• Be able to communicate effectively with other staff and students, monitoring developments and progress and bring an ambitious personality to the school environment
• Be composed, with the ability to manage challenging behaviour and situations
• Have transferable skills and a genuine interest in supporting young people with SEMH needs
• Demonstrate a patient and understanding attitude towards all of the students’ needs and circumstances

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
