Do you have experience supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils on a 1:1 basis?

I am working on behalf of a mainstream secondary school in Colne who are seeking a TA to support a group of targeted pupils for the 2019/20 academic year. The pupils display challenging behaviour and some have moderate learning difficulties. The successful TA will be required to support the pupils within classes and will also have some dedicated 1:1 time to support the pupils.

This role is to start ASAP and the working hours will cover a standard 6 hour school day. This position is 5 days a week and is on-going throughout the academic year. The intention is to evaluate requirements throughout the academic year and transition support staff onto a permanent contract.

The school is easily accessible via public transport and has excellent on site parking facilities. The school is a 'Good' secondary school based in Nelson with excellent support facilities and SEN department.
