We are currently looking to recruit a Level 2 or above qualified KS1 teaching assistant to work in a school in the Camborne area.
The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring that students receive the best education possible and is confident when going into a new classroom. It is important that you have a strong knowledge and understanding of the primary curriculum.
It is important that you can communicate well with the class teacher to go over the daily plans to ensure that the day runs smoothly. You may also be required to plan any additional work for the students to help the teacher with any students who need additional support.
You will be required to work 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday during term time. The ideal candidate will have a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle. You will need to be willing to undergo a stringent vetting and safeguarding process. You will also be required to apply for a Child Workforce DBS, if you do not already have one this can be completed during the recruitment process. You will also be required to provide applicable references.
You will need to be aware of Child Protection, Health and Safety, Behaviour, Teaching and Learning and Equal Opportunities policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
