Job description
We are currently recruiting multiple Teaching Assistants to support a range of local schools across Bury. These positions offer a mix of full-time, long-term roles as well as daily supply and emergency cover opportunities. Candidates must have previous experience working in schools and hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification. Whether you have experience in general classroom support or working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), we welcome applications from those who are flexible and eager to make a difference. Full-time roles typically run from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, providing consistent hours and routine.
As a Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include supporting classroom teachers with lesson delivery, helping to create an inclusive learning environment, and providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils where needed. You will assist with managing behaviour, supporting children with SEN, and encouraging positive social interactions. Additionally, you may be involved in preparing learning materials, helping with supervision during break times, and contributing to the overall wellbeing and development of the children in your care.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
