Teaching Assistant

A small village school located in the borough of Pendle are seeking to appoint a high calibre Teaching Assistant to work within their year 3 class. The role will commence on a full-time basis from January 2025. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the school are just now advertising for this position at this late stage in the term. Owing to this, the successful practitioner will initially start on a temporary contract until February half-term before being taken onto a permanent contract.

The school is small in size and therefor has a wonderful sense of community and belonging, pupils are well behaved across the key stages and parents are well engaged with their child’s learning. Facilities here are good, especially their large outdoor provision area which is keenly utilised across the curriculum. The Head Teacher is incredibly invested in the CPD and progression of staff, this is a truly brilliant opportunity for any suitable candidate seeking full-time work. Standards within school are high and you would therefor work alongside some excellent primary practitioners. In order to secure this role, you must hold a minimum level 2 qualification, have recent and relevant classroom experience, and be able to provide excellent references.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
