Teaching Assistant
Job description
We're Looking for Teaching Assistants
Across a range of specialist SEN schools, we're seeking compassionate, resilient and enthusiastic individuals who want to make a genuine difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs.
Every day is different. You could be supporting pupils with Autism, learning difficulties, communication needs, social, emotional and mental health challenges, or complex behavioural needs. The common factor is that every young person needs someone who believes in their potential.
Who Thrives in These Roles?

What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
There isn't one. You might be:

- Helping pupils regulate their emotions and behaviours
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Delivering engaging activities both inside and outside the classroom
- Celebrating achievements that others might overlook but mean everything to the young person involved
What You'll Need
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Emotional resilience and a calm approach
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Professional or personal experience supporting individuals with SEN
What You'll Gain
This isn't just a job. It's an opportunity to develop skills that last a lifetime.
You'll gain experience in:
- SEN education
- Behaviour support
- Mental health awareness
- Autism support strategies
- Communication and relationship building
- Child development and safeguarding
Whether you're looking for a long-term career in education, psychology, therapy, social work or youth support, this role provides invaluable experience.
