Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people with Autism?

We are looking for caring, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team at our specialist school supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

This is a rewarding opportunity to help students develop confidence, communication skills, independence, and a love for learning in a supportive and nurturing environment.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students in the classroom and during activities
  • Help create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to support individual learning needs
  • Encourage social development, emotional wellbeing, and independence
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues

We Are Looking For People Who:

  • Are patient, empathetic, and resilient
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
  • Can remain calm and positive in challenging situations
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Have experience supporting children with Autism, in either education, care or youth work.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
