This special needs school caters for  children between the ages of 3 and 19 with profound and multiple (PMLD), Severe (SLD) or complex learning difficulties. Some children have additional sensory or physical impairments, speech and language disorders or medical needs, others are on the autistic spectrum.

For this position, it is essential you have experience working with young people that have special educational needs. It would be beneficial for you to have experience working in a school setting.

Due to the varying needs and age of the students at this school, we are looking for applicants who have a flexible approach to work. Although rewarding, working with such vulnerable young people can be extremely challenging so we are looking for team players with a great sense of humour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
