Teaching Assistant
Job description
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join a variety of secondary schools across Northampton.
This is an excellent opportunity for anyone passionate about supporting young people’s learning and development — whether you are an experienced TA or looking to build valuable experience within the education sector.
The Role:
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Support students with SEN, EAL, or additional needs where required
• Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Requirements:
• Experience working with children (school experience desirable but not essential)
• A positive, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• The right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
