Job description

Cover Supervisor – Bedford (MK43)
£90 – £125 per day

We are currently recruiting confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across the Bedford (MK43) area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience working in secondary schools who are looking to take the next step in their education career. Graduates considering a future in teaching are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Role:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the class teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
• Support students in completing set work
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Uphold school policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a secondary school setting (essential)
• Confident classroom management skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• A proactive and professional attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
