We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in Primary School for those with SEMH. This school recently received a Good from OFSTED and is actively looking for individuals, particularly those working in Behaviour support, to propel them to the next level of ‘Outstanding’. The ideal candidate would be someone who:
• Experience working with social, emotional and mental health
• Can keep calm under pressure
• Has a warm and friendly personality.
Due to the needs of the pupils a lot of support is provided in and out of the classroom. Your role as a a Teaching Assistant would be to provide positive reassurance to a pupil within the classroom and social interactions. This would include deescalating difficult situations, providing motivational and support in times of crisis and assisting with class work.

The school is based in the Wigan area so is easy to get via bus or car.
