About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with a wide range of needs in Exmouth’s exceptional schools. These schools are committed to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments for children, where they can thrive and grow. You’ll be part of a skilled and compassionate team that promotes a positive and enriching educational experience.

What We’re Looking For:

Our partner schools are looking for professionals with a passion for supporting students with:

  • Primary Support
  • SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health)
  • ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)

Key Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP – Flexible openings to suit your availability
  • Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm – Begin in a temporary role with potential for a permanent position
  • Pay: £85–£100 per day – Competitive weekly pay, depending on experience

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to help students engage, learn, and achieve
  • Work alongside teachers to deliver individualised learning plans
  • Promote a positive, safe environment that supports students’ emotional and social development
  • Adapt classroom activities and resources to meet diverse learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support each student holistically

  • A genuine passion for supporting young people
  • Previous education or care experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
  • Willingness to undertake relevant training to develop your skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
