Teaching Assistant - Dereham
Job description
Location: Dereham and Surrounding Areas (including Mattishall, Swanton Morley, North Elmham, Shipdham, and Watton)
Salary: £89.60 – £100 per day
Contract: Long-Term & Temporary Roles Available
We are delighted to be working in partnership with a local Multi-Academy Trust, providing us with access to a wide range of opportunities across their schools in and around Dereham. This means we can offer both SEN Teaching Assistant roles and Mainstream Teaching Assistant roles, giving you the chance to work in settings that best suit your skills, values, and career aspirations. Whether you’re looking to support pupils with additional needs in a Specialist Resource Base (SRB) or play a key role in a mainstream classroom, there are multiple opportunities to build experience and make a real impact.
Roles Available:

SEN Teaching Assistants – supporting pupils with additional needs in mainstream and Specialist Resource Bases (SRBs)

Mainstream Teaching Assistants – providing classroom support across primary and secondary schools

✅ Experience is welcome, but not essential – training and guidance provided
✅ Patience, empathy, and good communication skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
