Pay Rate: £13.75-£14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
We are excited to invite applications for the role of Teaching Assistant at our school located in Croxteth (L12). Starting in October 2025, this position offers a flexible schedule, making it ideal for individuals seeking to support student learning while balancing other commitments.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our teaching staff to support classroom activities and provide tailored assistance to students, helping to create an inclusive and positive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include aiding teachers with lesson delivery, supporting individual or small groups of students, assisting with classroom management, and contributing to the preparation of educational resources. This role plays a vital part in fostering student engagement and ensuring each child can thrive academically and socially.
The position offers competitive pay ranging from £13.75 to £14.50 per hour, depending on your experience. We welcome candidates who are enthusiastic about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in a teaching assistant or similar educational support role (desirable but not essential)
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to supporting student development
- Be adaptable and able to work flexibly according to the needs of the school
- Show reliability, initiative, and a proactive approach to tasks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
