Teaching Assistant - Bermondsey

Position: 1:1 Teaching Assistant Behaviour needs

Rate :£70-£85 per day on PAYE

Location :Bermondsey

Start date : Immediate start

We are seeking experienced 1:1 teaching assistants for an alternative provision, there are new secondary students in the Bermondsey area in need of 1:1 support who all have a statement of behavioural needs or autism and communication needs.

Students education are considered on an individual basis, and a tailor-made programme of education is designed to meet his or her specific needs. This may take the form of one-to-one education, group education, or a combination of both. The schools objective has always been to advance education, through creative means and engage hard to reach young people.

As a 1:1 support teaching assistant here you will be responsible for planning and delivering 1:1 sessions on Literacy , Numeracy and elements of Science , sessions should be incredibly interactive and engaging to interest pupils who are disengaged from their education.

This role is for an immediate start with the the successful teaching assistant to move onto a permanent contract after 17 term time weeks!
