Teaching Assistant, Bath

Date posted : 14/03/19
£54 - £65 per day

Job description

This vacancy has now expired. Please see similar roles below...

Are you in a job that is not giving you the fulfilment you need?

Do you want to add value in your local community and become a positive role model?

Do you want the opportunity to get into education but don't know where to start?

If so, then becoming a Teaching Assistant could be a great career for you!

  • £54 to £65 a day depending on experience
  • Central Bath location
  • Immediate start
  • Ongoing temporary contract
  • Full-time AND part-time hours available

Over the past two years I have been in partnership with a secondary school in Bath, working particularly in its SEN department. SEN means Special Educational Needs and this has changed dramatically over the past few years. In mainstream schools, students are nurtured pastorally as well as academically - managing and supporting them with mental health, learning difficulties, social communication and neurological disorders. This may sound incredibly technical but in fact, the best people for this Teaching Assistant role requires the right personality fit rather than SEN qualifications.

Do you posses the following?

  • GCSEs in Maths and English
  • A university degree OR have school based experience of being a teaching Assistant OR have worked with children/adults with SEN
  • Be calm, self-aware, committed, reliable, patient and confident
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

The Teaching Assistant role will be working with students on a 1:1 basis from 8:30 to 3:30, Monday to Friday. However, there are part-time roles and job shares available too!

Why work through us...

  • Flexible working hours
  • Weekly pay with NO UMBRELLA FEES
  • PAYE, weekly payslips and NO PAPER TIMESHEETS
  • Ongoing Teaching Assistant training and CPD, including in-house TEAM TEACH training
  • A Teaching Personnel app to manage your diary and pay!
  • Your own dedicated consultant
  • NO LENGTHY APPLICATION FORMS or FORMAL INTERVIEWS

HOW TO APPLY: Simply contact us on and quote "Teaching Assistant, Bath". We will then go through the role, register your interest and put your forward for the role.
