Role: Teaching Assistant – Supporting Autistic Pupils
Location: Cardiff
Hours: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant on behalf of one of our partner schools who believe every young person deserves to feel valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. The school have created an inclusive community and are looking for a caring, dedicated Teaching Assistant to join them in supporting autistic pupils as they grow both academically and personally.
What the role involves:
- Working closely with pupils, helping them to access lessons and feel confident in their learning.
- Supporting social and emotional development, including communication and life skills.
- Collaborating with teachers and families to create the best possible support for each student.
- Encouraging independence, resilience, and a love of learning.
About you:

Experience of supporting autistic pupils is an advantage, but full training and guidance will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
