Teaching Assistant (ASC unit) - Oldham

A Full time position for a teaching assistant commencing in September 2019. The position is initially temporary, for the first term September - December, however there is the possibility of permanent dependent on school funding.

The school itself is part of a large multi academy Trust which is based in the Oldham area. The setting caters for pupils with a wide range of needs including: moderate, severe or profound multiple learning difficulties and pupils with serve or mild ASC. In its most recent 2016 inspection the school was graded as 'good' with outstanding features by OFSTED.

This particular role will involve working within the schools nurture base supporting pupils with ASC in reaching their full potential. Due to the needs of the pupils within the ASC unit it would be preferable for the teaching assistant to have prior experience working with pupils with ASC professional or personal.
