We are looking for medically trained staff to work in a special school in West Sussex supporting with COVID tests and SEN assistant requirements in class. To keep special schools open for the most vulnerable children during the lockdown they are seeking staff with either full-time and a minimum of 3 weekday availability.
The successful applicants will be required to assist with administering COVID tests during the day and supporting SEN children in attendance. Confidence working additionally as a SEN TA across autism, severe learning difficulties and medical needs classes will be essential.
Location: Various (West Sussex)
Role: Staff to support with COVID tests and SEN assistance in class
Duration: 25th Jan 2021 - March 2021 (dependant on lockdown duration)
Hours: 8:30 - 4:00pm daily
Pay rate: GBP60-70 per day (negotiable dependant on medical training and experience)
Requirements:
- Medical or SEN training and/or experience in the UK
- Confidence administering medication and supporting with care
- Experience particularly with autism, medical needs and severe learning difficulties
- Open to supporting children with SEN 1:1 in classrooms
- The ability to work collaboratively and pro-actively

- Team Teach or Positive Behaviour Support
