A school based in Slough are looking for a Primary Teacher and Post 16 Teacher to start in September 2019.
Primary
The class caters for 6 pupils with Autism and associated needs. Theses children will have difficulties with Speech, Language and Communication
Post 16
Small number of pupils with Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD). Some pupils will have medical conditions associated with their needs.
The support staff around you will allows you as a Teacher to direct your attention on individuals in the class and go home knowing that you have given the best support to your pupils.
A typical day within the school will be to plan, prepare and adapted your lessons to each pupils needs. You will deliver the lessons with support staff assisting with behaviour management, personal care and medication administration. Support staff will also be on hand to help gather and prepare resources ready for the day ahead.

Some experience Teaching children with Special Needs
The role is to start full time in September however the Head Teacher is more than happy to meet with Teachers after May half term for a chat and a tour of the school. This will allow you the opportunity to see the school first hand and find out from the Head Teacher more about the role. You can then decide if this meets your career aspirations.
