Job Description:
Are you ready to lead change and champion inclusive education? A warm and ambitious primary school in Luton is on the lookout for a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team this September.
This is a unique opportunity for a qualified teacher with a strong SEN background to step into a strategic, hands-on role where every decision you make has a direct impact on pupil outcomes. The school supports children with a range of needs — including autism, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH - and is committed to providing a truly inclusive learning experience.
You’ll work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to design and deliver impactful interventions, embed inclusive practices, and create a classroom culture where all pupils feel empowered to thrive.
Your Role Will Include:
- Leading small-group and individual interventions tailored to specific SEN needs
- Modelling inclusive strategies and differentiation for colleagues
- Supporting class teachers with planning and behaviour strategies
- Liaising with families and outside agencies to ensure joined-up support
- Monitoring pupil progress against EHCP outcomes and adapting provision
- Helping to shape a whole-school approach to SEND and inclusion
What You’ll Bring:
- QTS and strong classroom experience, ideally within SEN or inclusion roles
- Expertise in a range of additional needs and adaptive teaching techniques
- A coaching-style approach to working with staff
- Strong organisational skills and confident record-keeping
- Empathy, consistency, and a deep-rooted belief in every child’s potential
- A commitment to safeguarding and raising the bar for inclusive education
Why join Teaching Personnel:
- Weekly pay through PAYE – no hidden agency fees.
- A supportive consultant dedicated to your placements and career progression.
- Access to ongoing professional development and online training.
- Opportunities to secure long-term or permanent roles if desired.
- A chance to regain control of your work-life balance.
This is more than a teaching role — it’s a chance to shape an inclusive future for a school and its pupils. If you're ready to make a long-term impact in a setting that values innovation and compassion, we want to hear from you.
