Job description

Are you looking for a teaching position and have a passion for the way human and society works this could be the position for you.

Teaching personnel are looking for a teacher of Sociology and Psychology to join a forward thinking Secondary School in Northampton.

We received a "Good" Ofsted report which we were delighted with.

This is a full time position (part time would be considered for the right candidate)

Starting January 2026

 

About the role 

You will be contributing to raising standards and student attainment and to ensure outstanding progress in Psychology and Sociology.

To support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.

To Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

To implement and deliver and broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying Psychology and Sociology.

To engage in training to continually develop yourself as a teacher.
