Teacher of Science – Fleet | ASAP Start | Full Time
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well‑established secondary school in Fleet to recruit a Teacher of Science for a full‑time position starting as soon as possible.
This role is ideal for a science teacher who thrives in a supportive, well‑structured environment and is passionate about delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and progress in young people.
The Role
As a Teacher of Science, you will deliver pre‑planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students remain engaged, well‑managed and motivated to succeed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching Science to mixed‑ability classes at KS3 and KS4
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with clear, consistent school policies
- Creating a calm and focused learning environment
- Monitoring progress and providing timely, constructive feedback
- Supporting pupils with special educational or additional needs (SEN) where required
- Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams to support student development
This is a full‑time role starting ASAP, offering consistency and the opportunity to make a real impact quickly.

The Ideal Candidate
We are keen to hear from teachers who can demonstrate:
- Experience working with secondary‑aged students
- Confidence teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
- SEN experience, or the ability to adapt teaching to support additional needs
- Strong classroom presence and adaptability
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport
- A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
