The Science Department

Who We’re Looking For
You will be:
- A qualified Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
- Confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
- Passionate about practical science and engaging teaching approaches
- Committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all learners
- A reflective practitioner who values teamwork and continuous improvement
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Science across KS3 and KS4, planning engaging and well‑structured lessons
- Deliver practical work safely and confidently
- Use assessment to identify gaps and support progress
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole‑school priorities
- Support enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs or activities
