Teacher of Science
Location: Basingstoke Area
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPR/UPR (dependent on experience)
Suitable for: ECTs, unqualified teachers, and experienced practitioners

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Hampshire is seeking a passionate Teacher of Science to join their expanding team from September 2025. The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4

  • Teach either Combined Science or Triple Science at KS4 depending on your specialism

  • Contribute to the development of the department’s teaching and learning strategy

  • Inspire students of all abilities and help them achieve strong academic outcomes

  • Engage in whole-school initiatives aimed at improving pedagogy and student experience

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Is enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to improving student learning

  • Brings solid subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Science education

  • Is either an Early Career Teacher or an experienced practitioner seeking a new challenge

  • Values inclusivity, collaboration, and high expectations for all learners

  • Has a desire to contribute to whole-school improvement and ongoing development
