The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join our energetic PE department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5. You will inspire and motivate students to develop their physical skills, teamwork, and a lifelong love for sports and fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective PE lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Organize and participate in extracurricular sports activities and school events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the PE curriculum and teaching methodologies.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- NQT Encouraged to apply
- Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching PE at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about physical education and committed to student success.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
