Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)
Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire
Salary: UPS/M Scale
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our vibrant MFL department. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5. You will inspire and motivate students to develop their language skills and cultural awareness, preparing them for success in a globalized world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the MFL curriculum and teaching methodologies.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- NQT Encouraged to apply
- Degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching French and Spanish at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about languages and committed to student success.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
