Are you a Maths teacher seeking a new challenge in the upcoming academic year, or a newly qualified teacher of Maths seeking their first position this September? We currently have an open vacancy for a good school in Oldham seeking a new Maths teacher due to expansion in the department. This is a full time position and would begin in September, however has the potential for an earlier start date for the correct candidate.

  • Full time Maths teacher required, September 2019 start
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum)
  • Opportunity to work within a highly reputable Secondary school
  • Progression opportunities within the department

"We are working to secure a Maths teacher of a high calibre to join the department ahead of the new academic year. This permanent position will involve teaching Maths to pupils across Key Stage Three and GCSE, alongside taking on full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking. We are accepting applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers of Maths and wish to begin the interview process at the earliest convenience." - Head Teacher

The school is graded 'good' by Ofsted and require a high quality teacher or NQT to continue their traditions of delivering high results and upholding a strong reputation in the community. Located a short distance from Royal Oldham Hospital in Longsight, the school has state of the art facilities and a strong support structure set in place for the incoming Maths teacher or newly qualified teacher of Maths.
