Teacher of Mathematics – Basingstoke
Start Date: September 2026 (or earlier if available)
Contract: Full time / Permanent
Salary: MPR / UPR (£32,916 – £51,048)
Suitable for: ECTs and experienced teachers
A high‑performing and rapidly growing secondary school in Basingstoke is seeking an innovative and ambitious Teacher of Mathematics to join its successful Maths Faculty from September 2026. The Mathematics Department
The Maths Faculty is an established, collaborative and well‑resourced team, committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all students. The department:
- Delivers a structured and engaging curriculum across KS3 and KS4
- Focuses on building strong numeracy, reasoning and problem‑solving skills
- Works collaboratively to share best practice and improve teaching
- Maintains high expectations for all learners
There are strong opportunities to contribute to curriculum development and wider departmental initiatives.
The Role
You will:
- Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver engaging, well‑planned lessons that challenge and inspire students
- Create a stimulating learning environment that promotes progress
- Use assessment effectively to monitor and raise attainment
- Contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum
- Support intervention and enrichment opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
