Teacher of Maths – Basingstoke – January 2026 Start

Full-Time | Secondary | Long-Term Position

Are you a passionate and motivated Teacher of Maths looking for a new challenge from January 2026? Teaching Personnel are supporting a welcoming secondary school in Basingstoke who are seeking a skilled Maths specialist to join their Mathematics department on a full-time, long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced Maths teachers and strong subject specialists ready to step into a teaching role. If you can deliver engaging lessons, support student progress across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and bring enthusiasm for Mathematics, we would be thrilled to hear from you.


The Role:

  • Teach high-quality, well-structured Maths lessons across KS3–KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with curriculum expectations
  • Support learners of varying abilities to make strong academic progress
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and forward-thinking Maths department
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and classroom practice

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Teacher of Maths or confident Mathematics specialist
  • Strong understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum
  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
  • A proactive and reliable educator committed to student success
  • Valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)
