Health and Social Care Teacher

Location: Daventry, Northamptonshire 

Salary: UPS/M Payscale 

Start Date: September 2025

 We pride ourselves on our dedication to student success and well-being, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care Teacher to join our team.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to inspire and educate our students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4, preparing them for their GCSEs and beyond. You will play a crucial role in helping students understand the importance of health and social care in society and develop the skills they need for their future careers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in health and social care education.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
