Teacher of Geography – Secondary School in Basingstoke (January 2026 Start)

Teaching Personnel are supporting a thriving secondary school in Basingstoke who are seeking a motivated and passionate Teacher of Geography to join their Humanities team from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality Geography education and inspiring students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The school is looking for an individual who can bring energy, curiosity, and creativity to the classroom, helping students develop their understanding of the world around them through engaging, well-planned lessons.


The Role:

  • Full-time Teacher of Geography position

  • Start date: January 2026

  • Teaching across KS3 and KS4

  • Planning, delivering, and assessing dynamic Geography lessons

  • Supporting the development of the Humanities curriculum

  • Creating a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages progress


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds QTS, is an ECT, or an unqualified teacher with strong subject knowledge

  • Confident teaching Geography at secondary level

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • Passionate about student development and academic achievement

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
