Teacher of Geography – Permanent Position in Basingstoke (Starting January 2026)

Teaching Personnel are supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Basingstoke who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department on a permanent basis from January 2026 (or sooner, for the right candidate).
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking team committed to delivering engaging and inclusive Geography lessons that spark curiosity and critical thinking across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The Role:

Permanent Teacher of Geography position starting January 2026 (or earlier)

Delivering well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4

Creating a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental success

Inspiring students to develop a lifelong interest in Geography and global issues
The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is an ECT
-
Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and passion for Geography

Has strong classroom management and communication skills

Is dedicated to student progress and achievement

Is eager to contribute to the wider school community
