Cover Supervisor

Start Date: January 2026

A well-regarded mainstream secondary school in Blandford is seeking a confident and proactive Cover Supervisor to join their team from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with young people and is looking to gain valuable experience within a school environment.

The successful candidate will supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task with pre-prepared work and maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere. They will be supported by a friendly staff team and will play an essential role in the smooth running of the school day.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Be confident in delivering instructions and leading a classroom

• Be adaptable, dependable, and able to engage students across a range of subjects

• Have previous experience working with young people (school-based experience is advantageous but not essential)

This position is perfect for aspiring teachers, graduates, or anyone looking to make a meaningful contribution within education.
