Teacher of Religous Studies & Ethics, FULL TIME, Wellingborough, September start
An ofsted school in the outskirts of Northampton, in Wellingborough is seeking a Religious Studies Teacher from September . This is a full time position and the Teacher will be required to cover the rest of the academic year. The Religious Studies Teacher will have to be a subject specialist. The person will be taking on form tutor responsibilities, as well as teaching across key stage 3 and 4.
You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons to inspire students, and you will be able to deliver lessons with enthusiasm, helping students perform to the very best of their potential.
What you'll need to succeed:
- The appointed candidate will have full Qualified Teaching Status and be familiar with the current curriculum and its content.
- Experience teaching at KS5 is beneficial but not essential. Hays Education welcomes applications from new ECT’s to experienced teachers.
- You will have a real passion for using your teaching to make a difference to the school as well as pupils’ education through providing high quality lessons and support.
- You must have a flexible attitude and be adaptable to any situation that arises.
This Secondary Academy is an 11- 18, non-selective academy in Wellingborough and part of the growing Creative Education Trust. The school is large enough to offer a very broad range of opportunities within its innovative, comprehensive curriculum while small enough to provide. They have a vibrant leadership development programme. Our SLT ‘Associate Leader’programme is routinely over-subscribed and popular with staff. The school provide secondment opportunities – at our school and at other Trust schools – for Vice-Principals reaching out for that wider school experience in preparation for Headship.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
