Teacher of English - York

  • Contract Type: Temporary, Supply
  • Hours: Monday to Friday - 0830-1530, Term Time Only
  • Daily Pay Rate: £110 to £140*

Teaching Personnel is seeking a Qualified Teacher of English to deliver Key Stage 3 and GCSE English Literature and Language. Class sizes are up to 8 students, with vast opportunity to deliver on a 1:1 basis to students requiring additional intervention.

As a Teacher of English you should:

  • Be able to differentiate all lesson plans according to ability and Special Educational Needs
  • Have experience of delivering creative curriculums as a way of engaging students
  • Be passionate about your subject and aim for each pupil to achieve their full potential
  • Build student confidence
