Teacher of DT needed in Barnoldswick, Starting Easter 2018

Are you a fully qualified Design Technology Teacher with a specialism in Resistant Materials?

Are you currently available to start work and looking in the Barnoldswick Area?

The school is a smaller than average school with approximately 700 pupils on roll. The school has been judged as a 'Good' school in all areas by Ofsted. Although the candidate should be experienced working within a Design Technology department the school requires a teacher with experience teaching Resistant Materials to GCSE. The candidate should be comfortable with all of the coursework elements of the course.

The Design Technology Teaching position has come about due to a planned absence of one of the Teachers. Although the position is initially temporary pending the return of the Teacher, the school is looking to expand the department from September 2018 due to rising numbers. The Head Teacher is keen to consider the successful candidate for a potential permanent role in September 2018.

The Barnoldswick based school would be happy to consider both NQT's and experienced Technology Teachers. The school is looking for a candidate with a good knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Resistant Materials curriculum who would be confident planning and teaching lessons to a variety of pupil abilities and backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
