Job description

A secondary school in Bolton, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a wonderful opportunity for qualified teachers who want to work in a supportive, forward-thinking school with a strong focus on practical skills and creative learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Assess and monitor student progress in line with the national curriculum and school guidelines

  • Support students in developing their practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities

  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and participate in school events

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards and improve outcomes

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience or specialism in teaching Design and Technology
