Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working closely with an SEN school in the DE3 area of Derby. The school caters for secondary aged students that have High Functioning Autism. 

We work closely with the school providing them withTeaching staff on a day to day basis. As the school caters for SEN students one of the most important things is staff continuity - therefore if you get on well within the school you will be requested to return. 

The school is rated "OUTSTANDING" by OFSTED therefore you would be working in a school with a fantastic reputation and a supporting SLT team. 

The ideal candidate:

  • Experienced with Autism
  • Fully Qualified Teacher - able to deliver to smaller groups between 6 - 11 students 
  • Able to work on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Knowledge of Makaton / PECs
  • Additional CPD such as Team Teach / Autism Awareness  
  • Child workforce DBS registered to the update service
