Role: Early years teacher

Location: Penzance area   

Start dates: September 2025

Pay rate: £130 - £180

Teaching personnel are currently looking to recruit an early year’s teacher in the Penzance area. We are looking for someone who Is enthusiastic, kind, dedicated and empathetic. As an early year teacher, you will be teaching children aged between 6 months to 5 years old. The setting Is lovely, caring and friendly place to work.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating ad leading play-based learning activities
  • Monitoring and recording children’s progress
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for the children.
  • Promoting and monitoring the children's development in language, fine motor skills, early literacy and numeracy.
  • Support individual needs and promote positive behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in early years education.
  • Have a god understanding of the EYFS
  • Have experience working with this age group
  • Understand and follow safeguarding procedures
  • Have first aid training
  • Strong communication skills.

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £49.50, plus an annual subscription fee of £16 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
