Teaching personnel have an amazing opportunity to work with an Alternative provision Secondary school. The School cater for pupils KS3 -KS4 who have SEMH needs, the school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic qualified teacher to join their team.

Candidate Specification:

• Engagement Skills: Ability to engage learners and support their ambitions. To bring fresh ideas and creativity to the classroom and outside it.
• Emotional Support: Passionate about making a positive impact on students’ lives.
• Qualifications: To hold QTS/QTLS.
• Experience: Have worked in a school environment. Particularly, experience in secondary school would be an added advantage with experience of working with SEMH students and/or SEN.
• Knowledge: Have an understanding of alternative provision and dealing with students with special needs.
• Problem-Solving: Aptitude for solving problems and making effective decisions.
• Communication: Professional communication with students and staff.
• Promotion of Values: Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, wellbeing, and British values.
• Time Management: Effective time management for planning, delivery, and assessment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
