Teaching Assistant
Location: Dunstable
Salary: £90 – £110 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday (Term time only)
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Dunstable. In this role, you will support children with special educational needs both inside and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN
- Assist learning during lessons as well as break and lunchtime supervision
- Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging atmosphere for all students
Who We're Looking For
Experience working in a school is not essential—we welcome applicants from all backgrounds who are passionate about supporting children. The ideal candidate will:
- Have some experience working with SEN children (desirable, but not essential)
- Be committed, patient, and reliable
- Demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach (essential)
- Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check (via the Update Service)
- Hold permanent UK residency (essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
