TA for the Visually Impaired

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant for the Visually Impaired

We are working with schools in and around North Lincolnshire that require a teaching assistant that specialises in working with children in the reception class and KS1 that have visual impairments.

You must be a skilled, enthusiastic and motivated teaching assistant to start work in September in and around North Lincolnshire with the following experience:

Essential Experience:

• Experience of working with, or caring for children with Visual Impairments
• Experience of mobility support for pupils with Visual Impairments

Desirable Experience:

• Experience of using specialist Braille equipment and specialist ICT equipment for the visually impaired
• An understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and experience of working with children with SEND

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
