Support Worker - Cardiff

The Role:

Working at a Primary SEN School in Cardiff that caters for children with a range of additional needs. These include Physical Disabilities, Autism, MLD, SLD, PMLD, Downs Syndrome & SEMH. You will be responsible for supporting pupils within classes, supervising outside playtimes and using lifts and hoists as and when required. The School book for support staff on a regular basis, for day to day, medium term and long term cover requirements. 

The Ideal Candidate:

• Worked within the Health Care or Education Sectors for at least 6 months
• Experienced working with vulnerable children or adults that required additional support with day to day activities or with moving to/from wheelchairs etc
• Hold a Moving and Handling Certificate/Qualification
• Be able to provide a full 6 year career history with details of referees from your two most recent employees
• Be enthusiastic, energetic and a can-do attitude
