Are you passionate about supporting young people with additional needs? A well-respected specialist education setting in the Yeovil area is looking for a caring and motivated Support Worker to join their team supporting students aged 16–18 as they prepare for adulthood.
This inspiring provision offers a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to build confidence, independence and life skills through meaningful learning experiences.
Students in this specialist provision have a range of Special Educational Needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Complex communication and support needs
Your Role

Supporting students in lessons and structured learning activities
-
Encouraging confidence, independence and social development
-
Assisting students during community trips and outdoor activities
-
Supporting healthy routines such as exercise and wellbeing activities
-
Building positive relationships with students and staff
-
Working alongside teachers and specialist professionals.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
